Slack Integration Guide

Introduction

Slack action will allow you to send messages on channels with the detailed data where the action will be called.

Prerequisites

A Slack workspace account user with the following required privileges or, you can also use Super Admin Account.

Required Privileges

Scope	Use
admin	Read access to workspace
users:read	Read access to people in a workspace
channels:read	Read access to view basic information about public channels in a workspace
groups:read	Read access to view basic information about private channels
mpim:read	Read access to view basic information about group direct messages
im:read	Read access to view basic information about direct messages

Onboarding Slack in your Perimeters account

Log in to your Perimeters account and navigate to the "Integrations" section. Select "Slack" from the list of available integrations and click on “Add Application”

1. Go to "Integrations" -> Select "Slack" -> Click "+ Add" -> Click "+ Start Integration".

2. "OAuth" - Click "Sign in with Slack" -> Check all the scopes checkboxes and click on "Continue".

3. Click "Finish" to complete the onboarding process.

Once you have completed these steps, Slack should be successfully integrated with your Perimeters account.
