Introduction

Atlassian Guard is a subscription-based offering from Atlassian that provides enhanced security and centralized administration for Atlassian cloud products, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and others. This guide will walk you through the steps required to integrate Atlassian Admin with Perimeters.

Prerequisites

An Atlassian account user with Super Admin / Site-Admin Role and an API key must be created by this account user.

Follow these steps to generate the API key:
  1. Login using the Atlassian account.

  2. Go to and Navigate to "Settings" -> "API keys"

  3. Click "Create API key."

  4. You can select Scoped (preferred) or Unscoped key. Select the following scopes with Read permission in case of API key with Scopes: Classification levels Domains Policies

  5. Add a label and update the expiry date. Hit create.

  6. Hit "Copy" to copy the generated API key

Onboarding Atlassian Guard in your Perimeters account

  1. Go to "Integrations" -> Select "Atlassian Guard" -> Click "+ Add" -> Click "+ Start Integration".

  2. “API key” - Fill in the previously created API key.

  3. Click "Finish" to complete the onboarding process.

Once you have completed these steps, Atlassian Guard should be successfully integrated with your Perimeters account.
